WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will be
responsible for the local implementation and delivery of the
National Kidney Foundation's (NKF) programs for the public,
patients and health care providers. The Program Manager will serve
as a liaison to the local Medical Advisory Board to implement NKF
programs including patient and public education, screenings and
professional education activities, including Nephrology Night,
CME/CE events, and CHW educational presentations. Additionally,
this role will lead the Minnesota markets population health
initiatives with a focus on systems level work to increase kidney
health equity.
The Program Manager will work collaboratively with HQ & local
leadership to evaluate program performance and ensure activities
are aligned with the NKF's strategic plan. Additionally, the
Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and
Community Outreach Manager on large scale initiatives within
communities at disproportionately high risk of CKD. The Program
Manager will also assist with advocacy efforts at the state and
federal level.
Deliver NKF signature programs within the local community.
WHAT YOU'LL POSSESS
Must have unimpeachable integrity and trustworthiness while
possessing a high degree of tact, discretion, and professionalism.
Verbal and written communication skills will be used daily.
Maintain effectiveness under pressure. Competency in use of a
multiple-line telephone, personal computer, fax machine,
photocopier, and other standard office equipment. Ability to lift
and transport equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. Flexible to work
evenings and weekends as needed. Available for overnight business
travel. Must have a valid driver's license.
