Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a Meat Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership to the Meat team, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate the Meat team to achieve sales and profit goals, ensure effective inventory management, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a positive and memorable shopping experience.
• Operations and Logistics: Oversee the daily operations of the Meat department, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise, as well as maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Training and Development: Train and develop Meat team members to improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales and profit goals.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with store leadership, other departments, and vendors to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management, as well as excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
