About the RoleThe Team Leader - Store Operations will play a
critical role in the success of our store operations. This
individual will assist the Team Leader in all aspects of daily
operations, including profitability, expense control, buying,
merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects
as assigned.Key Responsibilities
- Develops and Maintains Store Layout and Merchandising: The Team
Leader - Store Operations will be responsible for developing and
maintaining creative store layouts and product merchandising that
drives sales and customer engagement.
- Works with Team Leader to Achieve Sales and Labor Targets: This
individual will work closely with the Team Leader to achieve sales,
purchasing, and labor targets, ensuring the store operates
efficiently and effectively.
- Assists with Analysis of Sales and Reports: The Team Leader -
Store Operations will assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales
reports and labor data to identify trends and areas for
improvement.
- Develops Product Knowledge and Awareness: This individual will
demonstrate advanced product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new
products and offerings, ensuring they can effectively communicate
with customers and team members.
- Maintains Vendor Relationships: The Team Leader - Store
Operations will maintain good vendor relationships, develop new
vendor relations, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted
for vendor processing.
- Resolves Team Concerns and Issues: This individual will work
with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns and issues, ensuring
a positive and productive work environment.
- Functions as Point Person and Departmental Person in Charge:
The Team Leader - Store Operations will function as the point
person and departmental person in charge in the absence of the Team
Leader, ensuring seamless store operations.
- Sets and Achieves Retail Execution Standards: This individual
will set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution,
ensuring customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
- Fosters a Positive Team Environment: The Team Leader - Store
Operations will foster a positive team environment, encouraging
outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
- Maintains Awareness of Customer Flows and Needs: This
individual will maintain awareness of customer flows and needs,
directing team members as necessary to satisfy and delight
customers.
- Develops and Mentors Team Members: The Team Leader - Store
Operations will select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and
counsel team members in a manner that sustains a high-performance
team and minimizes turnover.Key Qualifications

Operations must possess high energy and product knowledge,
